The government on Saturday blocked all over the country major highways leading to Islamabad by parking containers. Also, the Army was told to be ready to help the police stifle the lawyers' long march. According to military sources, the federal government has summoned the Army in nine to 12 cities, mostly in the Punjab.According to sources, the Army could be deployed in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Multan, Lahore, Peshawar and other cities.
